Structure
The labour workers report verbally any problems to their direct supervisors. The supervisors then make a daily report on the work and submit it to the project management department. The project management department communicates the problems during their meetings to the other departments and submits a summary of the problems and the progress of the projects to the general manager. In Alwan Aluminium, there is no direct communication between the labour workers and the top management due to its steeper organizational hierarchy.
